Before the Court is appellant's July 28, 2017 motion for extension of time to file his brief. We GRANT the motion and ORDER appellant to file the brief by September 1, 2017.

We caution appellant that future motions must comply with the rules of appellate procedure, specifically rules 9.5 and 10.1(a)(5). See TEX. R. APP. P. 9.5, 10.1(a)(5) (requiring service of documents on opposing parties and a certificate of conference).
