VENDORS AND PURCHASERS, § 101asssignment by vendor, liability of assignee. Vendee under land purchase contract was properly awarded judgment for amount of payments made under the contract, where vendor's contract had been assigned several times and evidence showed that various assignees had assumed the contract and were bound to carry out its provisions, and the last assignee refused to give plaintiff a deed upon completion of payments because the property had been conveyed by it to another party.

Appeal from Superior Court of Cook county; Hon. FRANCIS B. ALLEGRETTI, presiding.

Affirmed. Heard in second division, first district, this court at June term, 1939.
