A. M., Appellant v. Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Appellee
FROM THE DISTRICT COURT OF TRAVIS COUNTY, 419TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT
NO. D-1-FM-15-004217 , HONORABLE TIM SULAK, JUDGE PRESIDING MEMORANDUM OPINION
Appellant A.M. filed a notice of appeal from the district court's final decree of termination signed on August 11, 2017. On September 18, 2017, this Court advised appellant that the time for filing appellant's brief had passed and that a motion for extension of time or a brief must be filed on or before September 28, 2017. This Court warned appellant that if a motion for extension or a brief was not submitted to this Court by that deadline, this appeal would be subject to dismissal for want of prosecution.
A.M. is a maternal aunt to the child subject to these proceedings. She intervened in the court below.
As of this date, appellant has failed to respond to the Court's notice and has not filed a motion for extension of time or submitted a brief. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution.
