Section 19-2C-3a - Rulemaking(a) The commissioner shall propose rules for legislative approval in accordance with the provisions of article three, chapter twenty-nine-a of this code, to: (1) Establish the license requirements for auctioneers and apprentice auctioneers, including the bond requirements;(3) Establish the renewal and expiration requirements for licenses;(4) Establish the continuing education requirements for licensees;(5) Establish waiver of examination requirements for apprentice auctioneers;(6) Permit consent agreements or negotiated settlements for the civil penalties; and(7) Implement the provisions of this article.(b) The fees in effect on January 1, 2014, shall remain in effect until modified by legislative rule.Added by 2014 Acts, ch. 16 (HB 4410), eff. 6/6/2014.
