Section 17-26A-1 - DefinitionsFor purposes of this article:
(1) "Commissioner" means the West Virginia Commissioner of Highways continued pursuant to section one, article two-a of this chapter;(2) "Amendment" means the amendment to the Constitution of this state entitled Roads to Prosperity Amendment of 2017 as approved by referendum in October, 2017;(3) "State road bond" means any bond or bonds issued by the state pursuant to section two of this article;(4) "Division" means the West Virginia Division of Highways established under section one, article two-a of this chapter, or any successor to all or any substantial part of its powers and duties; and(5) "Secretary" means the Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Transportation.Added by 2017SP3 Acts, ch. 1 (SB 3001), eff. 12/4/2017.
