Section 54-20-104 - Clean coal technology program(1) Subject to Subsection (2), the commission shall authorize, before July 1, 2017, and, subject to funding, approve a program that authorizes a large-scale electric utility to investigate, analyze, and research clean coal technology.(2) The commission may review the expenditures made by a large-scale electric utility for a program described in Subsection (1) in order to determine if the large-scale electric utility made the expenditures prudently in accordance with the purposes of the program.Added by Chapter 393, 2016 General Session ,§ 10, eff. 5/10/2016.
