Section 36.067 - Contracts(a) A district shall contract, and be contracted with, in the name of the district.(b) A district may purchase property from any other governmental entity by negotiated contract without the necessity of securing appraisals or advertising for bids.(c) A district may use the reverse auction procedure, as defined by Section 2155.062(d), Government Code, for purchasing.Amended by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 436, Sec. 8, eff. 5/28/2001.Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 933, Sec. 2, eff. 9/1/1995.
