Section 1069.054 - Qualifications for Office(a) To be eligible to be a candidate for or to serve as a director, a person must be: (1) a resident of the district; and(2) a qualified voter.(b) A director elected or appointed to represent a commissioners precinct must be a resident of that commissioners precinct.(c) A district employee may not serve as a director.
