Section 1302.054 - Certain Maintenance Personnel This chapter does not apply to a person who performs air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance work if:
(1) the person is a maintenance person or maintenance engineer and is a regular employee of the owner, lessee, or management company of the property where the work is being performed;(2) the person performs the work in connection with the business in which the person is employed; and(3) the person and the person's employer do not engage in air conditioning and refrigeration contracting for the public.Tex.
