Section 1101.253 - Terms; Vacancies(a) Committee members serve staggered six-year terms, with the terms of two commission appointees and two State Bar of Texas appointees expiring every two years and the term of the public member expiring every six years.(b) A committee member shall hold office until the member's successor is appointed.(c) If a vacancy occurs during a member's term, the entity making the original appointment shall appoint a person to fill the unexpired term.Tex.
