Section 2303.510 - Industrial Development Corporation(a) The governing body of a municipality that is the governing body of an enterprise zone may create, in accordance with the Development Corporation Act (Subtitle C1, Title 12, Local Government Code), an industrial development corporation for use by the enterprise zone.(b) A corporation created under this section has the powers and is subject to the limitations of a corporation created under the Development Corporation Act (Subtitle C1, Title 12, Local Government Code). To the extent of a conflict between this section and that subtitle, that subtitle prevails.(c) The articles of incorporation of a corporation created under this section must state that the corporation is governed by this section.(d) The governing body of the municipality that creates an industrial development corporation shall appoint the board of directors of the corporation.Tex.
