Section 167.105 - Seizure and Disposal of Animals Moved in Violation of Quarantine(a) An inspector who discovers animals that are being or have been moved in violation of a quarantine may request a peace officer to seize the animals and: (1) impound the animals at the expense of the owner; or(2) if practicable, return the animals at the expense of the owner to the point of origin.(b) In addition to other expenses, the owner of the seized animals shall pay the officer a fee of $2 and the cost of feeding, watering, and holding the animals.Tex.
