Section 76.006 - Pesticide Examination and Testing(a) The department may contract with a state college or university, state agency, or commercial laboratory for examination of a pesticide. The department shall let contracts with commercial laboratories under this subsection on the basis of competitive bidding.(b) The department may make or provide for sample tests of a pesticide on request and may charge and collect a fee for the tests in an amount necessary to cover expenses incurred in making or providing for the tests.Tex.
