The title to and ownership of the ground within said boundaries shall be vested in the city of Philadelphia, excepting therefrom so much as shall be required by the Schuylkill Navigation company, the Philadelphia and Reading, the Junction and connecting railroad companies for the execution of their franchises, as now provided by law.
