Section 805.092 - Low-speed vehicles and medium-speed electric vehicles; rules(1) The Department of Transportation shall adopt, by rule, minimum safety standards for low-speed vehicles and medium-speed electric vehicles.(2) The department may not issue registration to a low-speed vehicle or medium-speed electric vehicle if the department has reason to believe the vehicle does not meet the safety standards adopted pursuant to this section. 2009 c. 865, § 14; 2010 c. 30, § 6
