Section 408.350 - Educational materials about hepatitis C(1) As used in this section, "veteran" means a person who is: (a) A resident of Oregon; and(b) A veteran as defined in ORS 408.225.(2) The Department of Veterans' Affairs shall provide, in written or electronic format, educational materials on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of hepatitis C in veterans who are at high risk of contracting the disease.(3) The department shall make the materials available to all veterans and health care providers.(4) The materials shall include: (a) The recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Liver Foundation relating to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of hepatitis C; and(b) Information from other groups that the department believes present reliable information concerning the increased risk to veterans of contracting hepatitis C. 2007 c. 381, § 1; 2009 c. 41, § 20 408.350 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 408 or any series therein by legislative action.
