Section 11-906.3 - Oklahoma Driver's Manual - Contents
A. The State Department of Education shall develop and administer appropriate driver education programs to be conducted in all of the schools of this state to increase awareness of the dangers of drinking and driving.
B.
1. In order to provide education and instruction to all applicants for an original Oklahoma driver license, the Oklahoma Driver's Manual, published and distributed by Service Oklahoma pursuant to Section 2-114 of this title, shall contain accurate information on:
a. the hazards of driving while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances, and
b. the legal and financial consequences resulting from violations of this state's laws prohibiting the operation or actual physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
2. In addition to the subjects set forth in Section 6-110 of this title, the written examination administered by Service Oklahoma to every applicant for an original Oklahoma driver license shall contain questions on the subjects listed in this subsection.
