The Uniform Commercial Code being a general act intended as a unified coverage of its subject matter, no part of it shall be deemed to be impliedly repealed by subsequent legislation if such construction can reasonably be avoided.

75 Okl.St.Ann. § 22 provides that in case of conflict between two statutes the last enactment controls, it is also well established that the courts have a duty, as far as practicable, to reconcile different provisions of statutes so as to make them consistent and harmonious, and to give sensible and intelligent effect to each. In re Farmers' State Bank of Ames, 181 Okl. 474, 74 P.2d 1166 (1938).
