Section 5101.89 - Youth and family ombudsman office definitionsAs used in sections 5101.89 to 5101.899 of the Revised Code:
(A) "Youth" means a person who is any of the following: (1) Less than eighteen years of age; (2) An emancipated young adult; (3) Is in the temporary or permanent custody of a public children services agency, a planned permanent living arrangement, or in the Title-IV-E-eligible care and placement responsibility of a juvenile court or other governmental agency that provides Title IV-E reimbursable placement services. (B) "Emancipated young adult" has the same meaning as in section 5101.141 of the Revised Code.Added by 134th General Assembly File No. TBD, HB 4,§1, eff. 5/30/2022.
