Section 52:7-10.19 - Validity of notarial actsa. Except as otherwise provided in section 9 of P.L. 2021, c. 179(C.59:7-10.4), the failure of a notarial officer to perform a duty or meet a requirement specified in P.L. 1979, c.460 (C.52:7-10 et seq.), as amended and supplemented by P.L. 2021, c. 179(C.59:7-10.1 et al.), does not invalidate a notarial act performed by the notarial officer.b. The validity of a notarial act under P.L. 1979, c.460 (C.52:7-10 et seq.), as amended and supplemented by P.L. 2021, c. 179(C.59:7-10.1 et al.), does not prevent an aggrieved person from seeking to invalidate the record or transaction that is the subject of the notarial act or from seeking other remedies available by law and as provided in P.L. 1979, c.460 (C.52:7-10 et seq.), as amended and supplemented by P.L. 2021, c. 179(C.59:7-10.1 et al.).c.
