N.H. Rev. Stat. § 316-A:21
A chiropractor licensed under this chapter and who is a resident of this state, who does not intend to engage in practice as a chiropractor, upon written notification to the office of professional licensure and certification, may be listed on an inactive list and shall not be required to renew such license biennially or pay any renewal fee as long as such chiropractor remains inactive. Any chiropractor whose name has been included in the inactive list as provided in this section shall be restored to active status by the office upon the filing of a written request with the office, accompanied by the required renewal fee, and after satisfactorily passing a competency test for which criteria have been established in rule by the board.
