Section 684A.240 - Administrative fine: Levy in addition to or in lieu of suspension, revocation or refusal to renew license; revocation of license for nonpayment; recovery; deposit1. In addition to or in lieu of the suspension, revocation or refusal to renew any adjuster's license for any of the causes referred to in NRS 684A.210, after hearing thereon or upon waiver of hearing by the licensee, the Commissioner may levy upon the licensee an administrative fine in any amount not less than $25 nor more than $500.2. In his or her order levying the fine the Commissioner shall specify a period of not less than 15 days nor more than 30 days after the date of the order within which the fine must be paid in full.3. If the fine is not paid when due, the Commissioner shall revoke the license involved, if not already revoked, and the fine must be recovered in a civil action brought by the Attorney General in the Commissioner's behalf.4.
