Section 396.040 - [See note] Number of Regents; election from certain districts; residency requirements1. The Board of Regents consists of 9 members elected by the registered voters within the districts described in the shapefile adopted by NRS 396.047.2. The members of the Board of Regents must be elected as follows: (a) At the general election in 2028, and every 4 years thereafter, one member of the Board of Regents must be elected from districts 1, 4, 6, 7 and 9.(b) At the general election in 2030, and every 4 years thereafter, one member of the Board of Regents must be elected from districts 2, 3, 5 and 8.
3.
