Section 386.345 - Membership in county, state and national school board associations; payment of dues, travel and subsistence for attendance at meeting of association1. The board of trustees of a school district may:(a) Acquire and maintain membership in county, state and national school board associations and pay dues to such associations.(b) Pay the travel expenses and per diem allowances of trustees at the same rate provided for state officers and employees generally when the trustees attend county, state or national school board association meetings.2.
