§ 1011. Coordination with the Government, the Puerto Rico Police, and the Municipal Police

To achieve the purposes for which the creation of the Capitol Police is authorized, the Colonel shall take the necessary steps to coordinate efforts with the Government, especially with the Puerto Rico Police and the Municipal Police, to fight and prevent crime in all its aspects. The Puerto Rico Police shall take any necessary measures to effectively carry out the coordination herein provided.

This chapter shall not limit or impair in any way the powers and obligations assigned to the Puerto Rico Police and the Municipal Police.
