§ 4107. Reports—To the Legislature

In view of the public interest which invests medicohospital liability insurance, the Commissioner shall file a report each year before the legislature on the operational results in this line of insurance individually and aggregately of the insurers who participate on the open market and the Syndicate. Said report shall include an evaluation of the operations and the manner that the insurers who are a part of the open market and the Syndicate are handling the needs of the health professionals and the health care institutions. He shall also report any problem that could seriously affect the interests of the participants and the insured, and advise of any legislative measures that should be considered to protect the Syndicate’s operational and financial integrity.
