(1) The liquidator shall petition the court for discharge of the liquidation once all the assets that justify collection and distribution expenses have been collected and distributed pursuant to this chapter. The court may grant the discharge and issue any other orders, including an order for the transfer of any remaining funds, whose high cost of distribution renders their distribution uneconomic, to where it may deem appropriate.
(2) Any other person may petition to the court at any time for an order in accordance with subsection (1) of this section. If the petition is denied, the person shall pay the costs and expenses incurred by the liquidator to oppose the petition.
