Act No. 48 of June 18, 1959, as amended, known as the “Narcotics Act of Puerto Rico”, §§ 973—976m, of this title, with the exception of § 21 of said act, § 974r of this title, which shall retain its effectiveness, is hereby repealed.
Act No. 126 of July 13, 1960, as amended, known as the “Barbiturates and other Dangerous Drugs Act”, §§ 930—949 of this title, shall continue in force in all that which is not inconsistent with this chapter.
Act No. 72 of April 26, 1940, as amended, known as the “Puerto Rico Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act”, §§ 711—732 of this title, shall continue in force in all that which is not inconsistent with this chapter.
All laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, it being understood, that Act No. 159 of June 28, 1968, as amended, which creates the Permanent Commission for the Control of Narcomania, §§ 981—992 of this title, shall remain in force in all its parts.
