The provisions on suspended sentence and probation shall not be applicable to anyone convicted of violating §§ 2401(a), 2405, 2411 and 2411a of this title when the distribution, sale, introduction, dispensing or possession and transportation for the purpose of distribution is involved, except in those cases in which the provisions of §§ 1042 and 1043 of Title 34 are applicable.
