It shall be the duty of the Office of the Judge Advocate to send, within twenty (20) days following the date on which the serviceperson was activated or mobilized, a certified copy of the executed instrument, as well as [a] certified copy of the order calling to active duty or state or federal mobilization, to the Director of the Office of Notarial Inspection of Puerto Rico.
It shall be the duty of the Director of the Office of Notarial Inspection to acknowledge receipt of these instruments and proceed to file them under the title of “Military Powers of Attorney and Wills [Executed] before the Judge Advocates” after registering the given name and surnames of the testator or the mandator and agent in cases of powers of attorney, and, in both cases, the personal circumstances of each one, the date of execution and the date of mobilization or call to active state or federal service.
