§ 2458. Court reporters, complete record of proceedings and testimony, if dishonorable discharge, bad conduct discharge or dismissal adjudged

(a) The general courts-martial shall keep a stenographic record taken by a court reporter. Special courts-martial subject to § 2454 of this title may keep a stenographic record in the same manner as the general courts-martial and subject to the regulations prescribed by the Adjutant General.

(b) Unless a complete record of the proceedings and testimony before the court has been made no dishonorable discharge, bad conduct discharge or dismissal may be adjudged.
