§ 281e. Board of Examiners—Quorum; bylaws; officers

Three (3) members of the Board shall constitute a quorum and a vacancy or the absence of two (2) of its members shall not affect the faculty of the three (3) remaining members to exercise all the powers and functions delegated to the Board. All agreements of the Board shall be made by simple majority vote of the members thereof.

The Board shall elect a chairperson and an alternate chairperson from among its members. The alternate chairperson of the Board shall perform the functions of the chairperson in every temporary absence of the latter. The Board shall adopt bylaws for its internal operation and shall meet in regular session at least once every month to attend to all its official matters. The Board may also hold any special meetings that may be needed, after due notice of a meeting to such effects, addressed to all of its members no less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the meeting.
