§ 6030a. Department of Consumer Affairs—Powers and duties

(a) To include roof waterproofing, coating and repair contractors into the Contractor Register. This register shall be available for review by any person so interested. Said registration shall be revised periodically at terms not to exceed three (3) months, in order to include in the Register the determinations by the Department of Consumer Affairs which become final and binding on the grounds of noncompliance. Should there be any, such an information shall be included into the Register as well as the status thereof alongside the name of the contractor.

(b) To require an annual bond pursuant to the provisions of §§ 1020a—1020f of Title 23, and the regulations promulgated thereunder.

(c) To issue certifications of registration, which shall contain all the data as provided by the Secretary of the Department by regulation.

(d) To consider and adjudicate complaints lodged by consumers under this chapter.
