§ 3461. Reconsideration

(a) Rights of the suspended applicant. — Any applicant suspended as the result of the revalidation examination shall be entitled to obtain certified copy of his/her answers or of the essay questions of the examination and copy of the grading instructions. Said copies shall have a cost of fifteen dollars ($15) for the answers to the examination and ten dollars ($10) for the grading instructions sheet to be paid by the applicant in certified check or money order payable to the Secretary of the Treasury.

Any aspirant who wishes to obtain a certified copy of his/her answers to the essay questions of the revalidation examination or the grading instructions, shall request it to [sic] the Board within ten (10) days following the date of notification.

Within twenty days from the date of notification of the results, the Board shall mail a copy of the answers to the applicants that thus request it.

(b) Reconsideration. — Every candidate who has not [passed] the examination by a twenty-five (25) point margin shall have the right to a reconsideration of his/her examination if so requested within thirty (30) days counted after the date of notification.

Any request for reconsideration shall be resolved by the Board at least twenty (20) days before the deadline to submit the application for admission to the next revalidation examination.
