§ 343g. Construction

The words and phrases in this chapter shall be construed within the context and meaning commonly used. The words in this chapter that are in the present tense also include the future tense; those of masculine gender also include the feminine and neutral genders, except in cases where such construction would be absurd; the singular number includes the plural and the plural includes the singular insofar as such construction does not contravene the purpose of the provision.
