§ 1262a. Effect of dedication

Once the property is dedicated to the timeshare or vacation club regime, the timeshares or vacation club rights and, subject to the limitations set forth in this chapter, the accommodations, may be individually conveyed and encumbered and be the object of ownership or possession, and of all types of juridic acts inter vivos or mortis causa , entirely independent of:

(1) The rest of the property of which they are a part (in the case of the accommodations), and

(2) of the accommodations (in the case of the timeshares and vacation club rights), and the corresponding titles may be recorded in the Registry of Property according to the provisions of this chapter and of §§ 2001 et seq. of Title 30, known as the “Mortgage and Property Registry Act”.
