§ 518. Penalties

Every urbanizer or constructor who violates the provisions of this chapter or its regulations shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction by a court, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or to imprisonment in jail for not more than six (6) months. Provided, That in case of violation of §§ 508 and 510(g) of this title he shall be guilty of a felony and, upon conviction by a court, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than one thousand dollars ($1,000) nor more than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), or to imprisonment in jail for not less than six (6) months nor more than five (5) years, or both, in the discretion of the court.
