§ 101. Definitions

The following terms shall have the following meanings wherever used or referred to in §§ 101—105 of this title, except where the context clearly indicates otherwise:

(a) Agricultural market.—Shall mean the place or facilities used to sell, store, gather, classify, pack, process or in any other way handle farm products.

(b) Farm product.—Shall mean all that is obtained from the practice of the farm and cattle industries and of gardening, for the use and consumption of man and domestic animals, including the byproducts thereof, whether fresh or in any way processed or preserved, as well as the byproducts of the cattle industry in all its branches, including apiculutre and aviculture.

(c) Facilities.—Shall mean the properties and services that in the judgment of the Secretary of Agriculture may be necessary or useful for the best marketing of farm products.
