Section 158.188 - Teaching activities permitted in the secular study of religion with the use of the Bible or other scriptureA teacher in a public school shall be permitted to:
(1) Teach about religion with the use of the Bible or other scripture, but without providing religious instruction, for the secular study of:(a) The history of religion;(b) Comparative religions;(c) The Bible as literature;(d) The role of religion in the history of the United States and other countries; and(e) Religious influences on art, music, literature, and social studies; and(2) Teach about religious holidays, including religious aspects, and celebrate the secular aspects of holidays.Added by 2017 Ky.
