Section 16a-NEW - [Newly enacted section not yet numbered] [Effective 1/1/2025] [Exemption from supervised loan licensing requirements](1) The following shall be exempt from the supervised loan licensing requirements of this act:(a) A supervised financial organization;(b) the federal deposit insurance corporation acting in its corporate capacity or as receiver; or(c) an attorney who is forwarded contracts for collection.(2) This section shall be a part of and supplemental to the uniform consumer credit code.Added by L. 2024, ch. 6,§ 15, eff. 1/1/2025.
