Section 36-7-32.5-3 - "Executive" As used in this chapter, "executive" means the following:
(1) In the case of a county that does not have a consolidated city, the president of the board of county commissioners.(2) In the case of a county having a consolidated city, the mayor.(3) In the case of a city, the mayor.(4) In the case of a town that:(A) does not have a mayor, the president of the town council; or(B) does have a mayor, the mayor.Added by P.L. 135-2022,SEC. 28, eff. 7/1/2022.
