Section 12-834 - Fee. Discharge of liability(a) The Connecticut Lottery Corporation may establish a reasonable fee for any administrative expenses associated with assignments made pursuant to section 12-831, including the cost to the Connecticut Lottery Corporation of any processing fee that may be imposed by a private annuity provider. The amount of the fee shall reflect the direct and indirect costs of processing the assignments by said corporation.(b) The Connecticut Lottery Corporation and its directors, officers and employees shall be discharged of all further liability to the assignor upon payment of any lottery prize pursuant to an assignment made in accordance with section 12-831.Conn.
