Section 2-201 - Effect of subtitle(a) This subtitle does not impair a right of arrest otherwise existing under the Code.(b) This subtitle does not deprive a person of the right to receive a citation for:(1) a traffic violation as provided in the Maryland Vehicle Law; or(2) a criminal violation as provided by law or the Maryland Rules.
