Section 33-5-12 - Certificates of registration and numbers generally - Numbering system

The numbering system employed pursuant to this chapter shall be determined by the secretary by rule. In the event an agency of the United States government shall have in force an overall system of identification numbering for vessels within the United States, any numbering system used shall conform to the federal requirements.
