Section 31-2-55 - [See Note] Appointment of officers and enlisted men of headquarters and headquarters detachment of National GuardOfficers and enlisted men and women of the headquarters and headquarters detachment of the Alabama Army , Air, and Space National Guard shall be selected and appointed from among the active or inactive members of the National Guard by the Adjutant General in the same manner as for other units.
