Section 84207 - Exemption from campaign statement filing requirement(a) An elected member of, or a candidate for election to, a county central committee of a qualified political party who receives contributions of less than two thousand dollars ($2,000) and who makes expenditures of less than two thousand dollars ($2,000) in a calendar year shall not be required to file any campaign statements required by this title.(b) Notwithstanding Sections 81009.5 and 81013, a local government agency shall not impose any filing requirements on an elected member of, or a candidate for election to, a county central committee of a qualified political party who receives contributions of less than two thousand dollars ($2,000) and who makes expenditures of less than two thousand dollars ($2,000) in a calendar year.Amended by Stats 2015 ch 364 (AB 594),s 13, eff. 1/1/2016.Added by Stats 2012 ch 502 (AB 2191),s 1, eff. 1/1/2013.Note: This section was added on June 4, 1974, by initiative Prop. 9.
