Section 2168 - Statewide system to facilitate reporting of election results and voter and candidate information and to administer and enhance election administrationThe Secretary of State shall establish and maintain a statewide system to facilitate the reporting of election results and voter and candidate information, and to otherwise administer and enhance election administration.
Amended by Stats 2015 ch 728 (AB 1020),s 38, eff. 1/1/2016 if the Secretary of State certifies that the state has a statewide voter registration database that complies with the requirements of the federal Help America Vote Act of 2002 (52 U.S.C. Sec. 20901 et seq.). Certification issued 9/26/2016.
