Section 12036 - Amount of state money provided for student loan funds

It is in the interests of the state and of the people thereof for the state to provide money for student loan funds in public institutions of higher learning on the basis of an amount equal to not less than one-ninth of federal capital contributions to such student loan funds as provided by the National Defense Education Act of 1958 for needy students at these publicly supported institutions.
