Section 14-123-205 - Boundaries - Change or alteration(a) The court may lay off levee districts or change or alter the boundaries of existing levee districts at any regular term.(b) When an alteration or change in the boundary line of any existing levee district is desired and the new territory sought to be embraced in the alteration or change lies in two (2) or more counties, either county, with the consent of the county court of the other county or counties, entered of record, may make the change or alteration. The court of the county making the change or alteration shall have the same jurisdiction and power over the lands and officers of the district as if the district were wholly within the county.(c) The notice required by § 14-123-202, for the formation of any new district, shall not be required for the change or alteration in the boundaries of an existing district.Acts 1879, No. 78, § 1, p. 117; 1889, No. 26, § 1, p. 27; C. & M.
