Vt. R. Prob. P. 57

As amended through June 3, 2024
Rule 57 - Declaratory Judgments

The procedure for obtaining a declaratory judgment pursuant to 12 V.S.A. §§ 4711-4725 shall be in accordance with these rules. Except where the court finds that all interested parties are already before the court, declaratory relief shall be sought by petition and notice of the petition shall be given under Rule 4. The existence of another adequate remedy does not preclude a judgment for declaratory relief in cases where it is appropriate. The court may order a speedy hearing of an action for a declaratory judgment.
